Welcome to my newest enterprise, Red Cabin Catering. I'm Jenniffer Baltzell, and my family is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of West Virginia, hugged by the Shenandoah River. I've been using the seasons and our gorgeous surroundings as muses to guide my passion for baking and all things culinary. After much success in feeding the local community informally, I've allowed them to poke, prod, and cajole me into expanding my audience. I've been catering locally for the last few years, and have recently joined the local Biz Market, which has allowed me to serve more of my neighbors on The Mountain (Sunday markets), as well as folks from the local county seat (Saturday markets). I've been offering up a variety of focaccia, scones, biscotti, crostata, and fresh berry lemonade and now that the weather is getting cooler, I have plans to offer mulled cider, spiced pecans and almonds, sweet & spicy pumpkin seeds, pies, and whatever else my imagination can cook up. I've enjoyed a wonderful response and have had so much fun getting to know both the new customers and other area vendors.
